What started as a tendency to modify jewelry that I bought, became a need to make my own jewelry. Soon, I found myself making gifts for friends and family. In January 2006, I decided to make stuff at home for profit. Mainly to pay for my bead shopping addiction :)

So what IS a Zarobi? In angelic lore, Zarobi is the name of an angel whose domain is precipices. As a college student, I lived on the 13th floor of an apartment tower. I was often found studying on my balcony when my roommate and his friends were too noisy in the apartment. My neighbour gave me the nickname “Zarobi” and it stuck. I’ve been the Lady Zarobi to my friends for over ten years.

When it came time to launch my little jewelry business, Zarobi was a nice, unique name. Not to mention, running a business by myself is a precipice in its own way. And so, Zarobi Designs was born. I love to craft, and I look forward to sharing my talents with you!
